It's getting chilly

So that can mean only one thing, it's time for me to give knitting another go. Normally at this time of year I get all excited about knitting, I think "ooh wouldn't it be lovely to give handmade presents at Christmas" and I take a trip to John Lewis, and I buy some more wool, and I get started, and all goes well for a few days... Then I drop a stitch, and don't notice until it's too late. So I start unravelling it, and it all gets rather messy, and finally I lose interest and away it all goes for another year.

But this year is different... I have a pattern from Citronille that is perfect, a simple hat and scarf.
